New 80-tonne ramps for Manoovr with excavator trough

The Nooteboom Manoovr generation has set new standards for the transport of heavy machinery. The latest additions here are the 4-axle, 5-axle and 6-axle extendible Manoovr semi low-loaders with excavator trough, especially for the transport of e.g. earthmoving and construction machines. The Nooteboom Manoovr generation has set new standards for the transport of heavy machinery. Nooteboom has developed special ‘Heavy Duty’ ramps to load these machines, weighing up to 80 tonnes, onto the load floor.

For the transport of crane ballast within the 100-tonne legislative limit Nooteboom offers two ideal transport solutions: The flatbed Ballasttrailer with countersteering and the latest Manoovr Ballasttrailer. Since the introduction of the 6-axle Manoovr Ballasttrailer in the middle of last year an increasing number of crane hire companies are opting for the Manoovr instead of the traditional flatbed Ballasttrailer.

The latest addition to the Ballast trailer programme is the MPL-97-06 with pendle axles. This Manoovr semi low-loader with a fixed 780mm low load floor has 12 tonnes per axle as standard and is therefore internationally an important alternative for the transport of crane ballast within the 1000-tonne road network. Load floor height is an increasingly important factor in the crane sector.

Three days, starting on Thursday, have been allocated to commemorate this anniversary. No doubt it will be a joyful occasion because the company is back on track.

New Manoovr semi lowloader with excavator trough

In the space of one year Nooteboom’s ‘Manoovr’ technology has become a household word in the world of international abnormal transport. The latest innovation in the Manoovr programme is a version with an excavator trough. This option makes the semi low-loader even more versatile, especially for the transport of excavators or demolition machinery as the boom arm can be positioned in the trough. The excavator trough is available as standard on all semi low-loaders of the Manoovr generation that have up to six axles.

This is already the 4th price the Nooteboom MANOOVR has been awarded with for this breakthrough innovation. We congratulate our supplier SAF-Holland who has won the Gold medal at the Trailer Innovation 2017 category Chassis for their Driven trailer axle for tipper-trailers.
