The design of the extendible Nooteboom OSD-MEGA is based on the successful OSDS semi-lowloader from the Nooteboom SMART programme. This makes the perfectly flat load floor not only ideal for crane-loaded goods but also for the transport of heavy, self-propelled machines.
Thin, strong gooseneck
The OSD-MEGA is a perfectly flat, extendible semi-trailer, with a loaded floor height of just 97cm approximately. The ultra-thin gooseneck, only 11.5 cm thick, has a technical fifth-wheel load of 18 tonnes. This means the OSD-MEGA can be combined with 4×2 or 6×2 mega tractors. With the self-tracking rear axle and chosen wheelbase of the OSD-MEGA it perfectly meets the German paragraph 70 permit regulations.
