The Haegens fleet includes a variety of Nooteboom trailers, ranging from flatbed trailers and semi low-loaders to EURO low-loaders and curtain-sided trailers. For the transport of heavy equipment, Haegens uses, among others, a 2+4 combination.

This trailer is used to transport the company’s own crawler cranes and crawler lifting cranes, as well as for third-party transport, including excavators, units and other heavy or high loads. According to Haegens, the 2+4 combination is particularly well suited to the heavier equipment transported on a daily basis.

The partnership with Nooteboom goes back many years. The first Nooteboom trailer purchased by Haegens was a semi low-loader, which also served as a ballast trailer for one of the company’s larger cranes at the time. Since then, the company has largely opted for Nooteboom.

According to Haegens, working with a single brand creates uniformity within the company. This makes it easier for drivers to switch between vehicles and also offers advantages for the workshop. In addition, the user-friendliness of the trailers is considered an important benefit.
