Developed for maximum stability
The central box-shaped beam made from high-quality steel provides an extremely strong and torsion-resistant chassis. As a result, the BALLASTTRAILER remains stable and reliable even under heavy loads. The chassis has been specially designed for high concentrated loads without adding unnecessary weight. This allows you to benefit from optimum payload capacity and excellent driving characteristics.
Maximum manoeuvrability on site
In ballast transport, manoeuvrability is essential. Thanks to the fully hydraulic turntable steering system with a large steering angle, you can easily manoeuvre on confined construction sites and restricted unloading locations. In addition, the simple steering technology ensures minimal tyre wear and low maintenance costs. Since 2015, the 5-, 6- and 7-axle versions have also been available with Counter Steering. In this configuration, the front axles actively steer in the opposite direction to the rear axles, resulting in an even smaller turning radius and greater driving stability, especially when reversing.
