Nooteboom Trailers, based in the Netherlands, has a leading market position in Europe in the design and construction of vehicles for abnormal road transport.

As our activities grow, we are looking to expand our successful French team. To serve our customers in the north-eastern region of France and Wallonia we would like to welcome a new team member. Nooteboom is ambitious, innovative and growing. Our French team has structurally improved its position in the market during the last few years and we intend to continue on this path.

Area Sales Manager France

Your position
Sales is not just your job but your passion. Serving our clients is what drives you and gives you energy. Understanding customer requirements and finding the right product for them gives you a buzz.  You show personal engagement, attention for the customer, focus on opportunities and have a strong motivation to see things through. You get excited by clients and technology. You engage customers and look after them to become their trusted adviser for Nooteboom vehicles and services.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop sales and marketing plans
  • Develop and present Nooteboom solutions to customers
  • Sell vehicles and services to customers
  • Coordinate and successfully close sales cycles (conversion)
  • Provide (technical) advice to customers about various transport solutions
  • Maintain and develop the customer database
  • Translate market developments into sales approaches
  • Initiate market-oriented activities in order to improve market position
  • Take part in exhibitions and trade fairs.


Your personality:

Your personality matters to us. It’s important to be pro-active, structured, setting priorities and focus on customers. You take the initiative and improve situations step-by-step. You are aware that you are an ambassador of our company. You are a self-starter, have the ability to work autonomously but also understand the relevance of teamwork.

In addition the following experience and skills are required:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Educated on BSc-level (technology, business administration)
  • Solid technical career background
  • Proven track record in technical-commercial context
  • Organizational and planning skills
  • Strong interpersonal and commercial skills
  • Driven by result
  • Persistent and creative
  • Computer and social media skills.
