Within the Engineering department of Nooteboom Trailers B.V. there is a vacancy for a:

System Engineer M/F (Emedded Software)

In view of future vacancies due to our ambitions we would like to meet with candidates. As System Engineer you are responsible for completing various embedded software systems for the latest generation of Nooteboom vehicles.

YOUR TASKS:

  • To convert a package of wishes and requirements into a system design;
  • To design and integrate  systems, including brakes, steering and suspension;
  • To generate concepts in the field of Connectivity, Telematica, LOT-platforms, Diagnostic Tooling;
  • Make risk analyses;
  • Follow the developments in your field and implement these developments in systems;
  • Translate market developments into applicable concepts;
  • Supervise the building of a prototype and testing of new systems;
  • Supply the paperwork.

WE ASK:

  • Professional and intellectual ability at BSc or MSc level, e.g.  embedded systems or computer sciences;
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch, English and German language;
  • 5 years’ relevant experience;
  • Knowledge and experience of hardware and software developments (design, support tools, and methods);
  • Knowledge and experience of programming languages and development tools;
  • Ability to be innovative and flexible;
  • Able to work independently;
  • Analytical capability;
  • Prioritising and organisational skills;
  • Good communication skills.
